A Quick Update From Ward

What was expected to be a relatively simple meniscus surgery, with an anticipated return to work in about two weeks, became something far more serious. Complications from a series surgical infection led to additional surgeries, months of Intravenous Antibiotics, a long and difficult recovery, and ultimately a total knee replacement. What should have been a brief interruption turned into over a year away from work.

I’m happy to say that recovery from the knee replacement has been going very well, and Ho Ho Handyman Services is once again accepting service requests as I prepare for a gradual return to a normal workload.

I know that both I and my website were unavailable for quite some time. Many past customers—and people who may have been trying to reach me for the first time—were understandably left unsure whether I was still in business or how to contact me. It probably seemed as though I had simply disappeared, and I sincerely apologize for that.

The past year has been challenging, to say the least, and I am deeply grateful to everyone who checked in, waited patiently, continued recommending me, or simply stood by me during that time.

For now, I’ll be reviewing and accepting select jobs as I continue rebuilding my schedule and making sure I can give each customer and job the time and attention it deserves.
