About Me - The Story Behind Ho Ho Handyman

Hello Neighbors, I'm Ward, the heart and hammer behind Ho Ho Handyman Services. My path to founding this business isn't just about trying to make a couple of bucks; it’s about returning to my roots, dedicated to building a community-focused service founded on expert craftsmanship.

For over 20 years, I've mastered the skills to be a master handyman. What you may not know is that I am also a skydiving instructor of 23 years when not working the trades. While amassing 17,000 skydives, a few world championships, and several world records, I’ve acquired the qualities of being very precise and methodical, which is crucial in skydiving—excellent traits that translate well to the quality and precision I bring to all my projects big or small.

A lot of people think handymen are just jack-of-all-trades but masters of none — not here. I’m nationally and state certified as a Certified Professional Inspector® (CPI) through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. I’ve completed over 20 professional certifications and logged 764 continuing education credit hours covering everything from structural issues and electrical systems to HVAC and moisture intrusion — and that list keeps growing as I continue to add more certifications. I’m here to bridge that gap, not just as a handyman but as a neighbor and friend you can trust with your home as if it were my own. Recently, I helped Mrs. Gogel, one of our senior neighbors who lives alone with a simple light bulb replacement.
